COVID-19 / Coronavirus Preparedness
Cedarkirk’s first responsibility has been – and continues to remain – the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, guests, and campers.
For 50 years now, people have considered Cedarkirk to be a safe space – a home away from home. Our staff works hard to uphold that reputation and preserve that feeling for every guest. While we have endured this pandemic for a year now, the threat of COVID-19 is still very much top of mind for all of us.
It is important to us that we are as prepared as possible to respond to the unique challenges and opportunities a situation like this presents to our organization. Our intent is to provide you with resources for accurate information, and to communicate Cedarkirk’s policies and practices that are presently in effect. These practices will continue until we hear from health officials that the threat of outbreak has diminished. With multiple vaccines now available and in distribution, we are hoping that things get better soon!
We will work with one another, our community leaders, and health care professionals as we carry out our ministry with your safety in mind. Should you have questions related to any policies, practices, or efforts related to the COVID-19 virus, please contact us. These challenges are ongoing, but rest assured that Cedarkirk will remain a place apart to build up the body of Christ in love as we serve you and empower you to love and serve others.
Appreciatively,
Matthew Shick
Executive Director
