FUSION 2023 | God is in the Waters

Water plays a central role in many of the stories of the old and new testaments. From the flowing waters of the rivers in Babylon to the deep waters of the well where Jesus met a lonely woman, and from the gentle Nile that carried Moses to safety to the stormy waters that Jesus calms, God routinely shows up in and through waters. During worship and small group discussions, we’ll dive into the waters of the Bible and the waters of our own lives to better understand how we connect to God – and how God reaches out to us.

For middle school, high school, and blended youth groups. Bring your youth to Cedarkirk for a weekend of fellowship, games, great meals, and plenty of large and small-group time to expand the depth of your students’ faith. Regardless of whether your youth group is large or small, your youth will make new friends from other churches in the presbytery and experience camp together in the cool(ish) weather. We’re excited for you to join us for this exciting weekend of faith development and community-building.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER & WORSHIP LEADER | Emily Snyder

We are excited to have Emily Snyder lead worship and discussion for Fusion this year! Emily has been serving as the Director of Student Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven for 4 years. She was born and raised in Winter Haven and loves spending time hanging out with her students and helping them grow in their faith and in their friendships with one another. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading, playing sports, and doing any type of outdoor activities. As a teenager, Emily spent a lot of time in youth groups, Bible studies, and at camps and conferences like Cedarkirk. She is excited to spend a weekend sharing her faith with the middle schoolers and high schoolers who attend!
