DESCRIPTION:Spring Volunteer Day at Cedarkirk  |  Saturday\, February 21\, 2026\nFree Event | Lunch Provided | All Ages Welcome\nCome spend a beautiful fall day at Cedarkirk giving back\, getting your hands dirty\, and making a real difference! Our Fall Volunteer Day is a chance for individuals\, families\, youth groups\, and church teams to come together in service to this ministry we all love. \nWhether you’re a seasoned handyman or just willing to pitch in\, we will have jobs for every skill level and every age. From painting and landscaping to light construction\, trail maintenance\, and deep-cleaning spaces\, there’s something meaningful for everyone to do. No experience is necessary – just bring your work gloves\, sturdy shoes\, and a willingness to help. \nSchedule \n\nCheck In: 9:00 am-9:30 am\nWork Projects Begin: 9:30 am\nLunch Served: 12:30 pm (FREE!)\nWrap Up/Depart: around 4:00 pm\n\nAdditional Info \n\nChildren and youth are welcome\, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or chaperone. Cedarkirk is not providing childcare or child-specific programming for this event.\nGroups are encouraged to attend – just let us know how many people you’re bringing so we can plan projects and meals accordingly. **We require a signed Volunteer Consent Form for each participant: if you are bringing a group that includes minors\, please have their parent or guardian sign it so you can bring the completed form with you.\nIf you have tools\, lawncare equipment\, or anything else you’d like to bring\, please let us know so we can coordinate with you ahead of time.\n\nRSVP Here  (It’s a short form and should take only 2 minutes to complete.) \nPotential Projects: \n* Invasive plant removal\n* Cleaning up cabins & fire circles\n* Cutting and splitting firewood\n* Trail maintenance\n* Landscaping / planting / raking\n* Spreading woodchips\n* Power-washing (picnic tables\, outside of buildings)\n* Painting (interior and/or exterior)\n*** If you have significant experience using chainsaws or other power tools please contact us for other project ideas.
