Our Fall Volunteer Day is a chance for individuals\, families\, youth groups\, and church teams to come together in service to this ministry we all love. \nWhether you’re a seasoned handyman or just willing to pitch in\, we will have jobs for every skill level and every age. From painting and landscaping to light construction\, trail maintenance\, and deep-cleaning spaces\, there’s something meaningful for everyone to do. No experience is necessary – just bring your work gloves\, sturdy shoes\, and a willingness to help. \nSchedule \n\nCheck In: 9:00 am-9:30 am\nWork Projects Begin: 9:30 am\nLunch Served: 12:30 pm (FREE!)\nWrap Up/Depart: around 4:00 pm\n\nAdditional Info \n\nChildren and youth are welcome\, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or chaperone. Cedarkirk is not providing childcare or child-specific programming for this event.\nGroups are encouraged to attend – just let us know how many people you’re bringing so we can plan projects and meals accordingly. **We require a signed Volunteer Consent Form for each participant: if you are bringing a group that includes minors\, please have their parent or guardian sign it so you can bring the completed form with you.\nIf you have tools\, lawncare equipment\, or anything else you’d like to bring\, please let us know so we can coordinate with you ahead of time.\n\nRSVP Here  (It’s a short form and should take only 2 minutes to complete.) \nPotential Projects: \n* Invasive plant removal\n* Cleaning up cabins & fire circles\n* Cutting and splitting firewood\n* Trail maintenance\n* Landscaping / planting / raking\n* Spreading woodchips\n* Power-washing (picnic tables\, outside of buildings)\n* Painting (interior and/or exterior)\n*** If you have significant experience using chainsaws or other power tools please contact us for other project ideas.

It is our pleasure to host you for a few days as you take time to care for yourself. We will provide some scheduled worship times and activities\, but we want you to do what you need to recharge! Feel free to hike\, study\, sleep\, or enjoy times of quiet solitude in the embrace of nature. Don’t miss this opportunity for some much needed and well-deserved Sabbath at Cedarkirk. \nDETAILS\nArrival: Event Check-In is at 10:00 am on Monday\, April 6.\n    *If you’d like to come for just the day on Monday or Tuesday\, or plan to arrive later\, please let us know in advance.\nDeparture: The event concludes at 4:00 pm on Tuesday\, April 7.\nMeals: Monday lunch and dinner; Tuesday breakfast and lunch.\nLodging: All participants will have private bedrooms in climate-controlled buildings.
