FUSION 2024 | Clouds & Crowds
The theme for this year’s fusion is “Clouds and Crowds”. We will talk and discuss how God is always with us—like when the Israelites were wandering in the desert and God appeared as a cloud before them. We will also think of the great crowds who gathered to hear Jesus teach and preach. Lastly we will talk about all the Christians who have ever been or ever will be—the great “cloud of witnesses”! Through “Clouds and Crowds” God inspires, instructs, and comforts us.
For middle school, high school, and blended youth groups. Bring your youth to Cedarkirk for a weekend of fellowship, games, great meals, and plenty of large and small-group time to expand the depth of your students’ faith. Regardless of whether your youth group is large or small, your youth will make new friends from other churches in the presbytery and experience camp together in the cool(ish) weather. We’re excited for you to join us for this exciting weekend of faith development and community-building.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER & WORSHIP LEADER | Michael McCormack
We are excited to have Michael McCormack lead worship and discussion for Fusion this year! Mike has been serving as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church Brandon for over 9 years. He was born in Florida (Fort Walton Beach) and raised in Dayton, Ohio before attending a small college in Tennessee and an even smaller seminary in Kentucky. He is married to Elizabeth and together they have two sons, Noah (19) and Liam (14). When Mike isn’t busy with church stuff he likes books, music, movies, gas stations, airports, watching English Premier League and going on retreats—like Fusion! He is excited to spend a weekend with the middle schoolers and high schoolers who attend.
