Reach Out Conference

A unique and engaging experience for adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Reach Out campers live within a supportive community while having the time of their lives! Swimming, making crafts, singing, archery, worshiping together, roasting s’mores around a campfire, and performing in a talent show are some of the activities these campers look forward to year after year. A low ratio of campers to staff and volunteers helps ensure that each camper receives the support they need and enjoys a safe and rewarding camp experience.

These campers sleep in air-conditioned lodging.

A supplemental application and short phone conversation with Cedarkirk leadership are required before registration. This process allows us to learn more about each camper’s individual needs, abilities, and support needs and determine whether the Reach Out program and the supports we are able to provide are a good fit for the camper.

Reach Out is not a medically staffed program. While a health care manager is on site 24 hours a day, our staff are not able to provide ongoing medical care, personal care, or one-on-one assistance with mobility or daily living needs.

Please complete the supplemental application as honestly and thoroughly as possible. After the application has been reviewed and the phone conversation completed, Cedarkirk leadership will contact you with the next steps. If Reach Out is determined to be a good fit, Cedarkirk staff will complete the camper’s registration and provide you with the information needed to move forward.
