Theme: “Restoring Purpose to our Golden Years”
Ever feel like a rudderless ship? Often, as the years go by, we lose our sense of purpose. Children, career, and responsibilities give way to endless days of leisure. However, that can wear thin and we think, “Is there anything more?” We long for a renewed sense of purpose in our Golden Years. If that’s you, this will help. We will think together about “Restoring Purpose to our Golden Years.” Through presentation and discussion, we will find a new direction for our lives.
We are delighted to welcome Rev. Dr. Ken Shick as our guest speaker. Ken currently serves as Transitional Pastor at Village Presbyterian Church in Tampa. He has been married to Robin for 38 years and they have 3 adult sons and families who live in the Tampa area, including 4 grandchildren, ages 6 – newborn. Ken has been in ordained ministry for 43 years. His last permanent pastorate was Hyde Park Presbyterian where he served for 30 years. He has been doing Transitional Ministry for 4 years and has also served Temple Terrace PC and Northeast PC in St. Petersburg. His interests include singing and playing guitar, cycling, and cooking/grilling.
This event is $20 per person and includes snacks, lunch, and all of our activities. Please contact the camp office for more details. To register as an individual or a group, please contact Karin Dale at firstname.lastname@example.org or 813.685.4224 x2.
